Delaware North Sportservice named digital publishing platform Mango Sense/USA COO JEFF KLINE Senior VP/Business Development. Kline also served as Veritix President from ’07-12, and before that, he spent 13 years at Ticketmaster. Kline will begin with DNS on Monday, when he will accompany Sportservice President JOHN WENTZELL on an MLB Opening Day tour of ballparks served by the concessionaire (Don Muret, Staff Writer).

LAWYERING UP: The Twins named Kaplan, Strangis & Kaplan attorney MARY GIESLER as the club’s "first-ever in-house" VP & General Counsel. While a partner at the law firm, Giesler “played a key role in negotiating and preparing agreements that were vital to the approval, design, construction and opening of Target Field” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/26)….The New York State Athletic Commission, which “regulates boxing and issues licenses related to boxing,” named criminal defense attorney DAVID BERLIN to the newly-created position of Exec Dir. Berlin “has deep roots in boxing, having represented several fighters” (NYPOST.com, 3/26).

EXECS: The Hockey HOF appointed several NHL execs to its selection committee, including Kings President of Business Operations LUC ROBITAILLE, Flyers Senior VP BOBBY CLARKE and Predators GM DAVID POILE. Belli held various roles with Andretti Autosport from ’99-’13 (IndyCar)….Western Washington Univ. promoted Associate AD/Business & Financial Affairs STEVEN CARD to AD. Card had been serving as interim AD since last May and succeeds LYNDA GOODRICH, who retired after 26 years in the role (WWU)….Lewis & Clark College named Washington & Lee Univ. Associate AD SHANA LEVINE AD (LCC).
