NBC earned a 3.4 overnight rating for yesterday’s final round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral, as Patrick Reed defeated Bubba Watson and Jamie Donaldson by a shot to win his first WGC event. The rating is down 23% from a 4.4 overnight last year, when Tiger Woods won the event for the seventh time. NBC’s third-round 2.3 rating also was down from a 3.0 rating last year, when Woods built his lead to four shots over Graeme McDowell. Meanwhile, Fox averaged a 4.1 rating for Brad Keselowski’s last-lap victory over Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Yesterday’s figure is down from last year’s 4.4 rating for Matt Kenseth’s win.
