Sidney Crosby Continues To Lead NHL Jersey Sales, While T.J. Oshie Cracks Top 25

Penguins C Sidney Crosby topped NHL jersey sales for the period of Oct. 1-Feb. 25, while Red Wings C Pavel Datsyuk retains the No. 2 spot, according to figures from Shop.NHL.com. Crosby led all players in jersey sales last year. Capitals RW Alex Ovechkin, who had the No. 4 top-selling jersey in '12-13, jumped up a spot to No. 3 for the period running Oct. 1-Feb. 25. Blackhawks C Jonathan Toews dropped from No. 3 to No. 4, while Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane remained No. 5. Cracking the top 25 for the first time are Blues RW T.J. Oshie, who became a household name after lifting the U.S. men's hockey team to a victory over Russia with four shootout goals during the Sochi Games, and fellow U.S. Olympian and Sharks C Joe Pavelski. Dropping out of the top 25 is Sharks C Logan Couture, who finished '12-13 in the No. 20 spot (THE DAILY).
