Overnight Ratings: San Diego State-Kansas Tops Weekend College Basketball Games

NFL Wild Card games led overnight ratings among weekend sports telecasts. One beneficiary was the San Diego State-Kansas men's basketball game that followed the Chargers-Bengals AFC Wild Card game yesterday. While that rating was the best college basketball figure of the weekend, it was down from the net's Temple-Kansas matchup last year, which followed the Colts-Ravens Wild Card telecast. Fox again aired an FA Cup match from the U.K., with Arsenal-Tottenham Hotspur earning a 0.7 overnight on Saturday afternoon. That figure is up from a 0.6 overnight for Manchester United-West Ham in the same window last year. NBC also aired the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday afternoon leading into its Wild Card games, earning a 1.3 overnight, which is flat compared to '13.

Listed below are overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
