AEG ended its relationship with AEG Live President & CEO RANDY PHILLIPS, and is restructuring the subsidiary's management. The company subsequently named AEG Europe President & CEO JAY MARCIANO AEG Live Chair (AEG). AEG President & CEO DAN BECKERMAN in a statement "praised" Marciano, but "was silent" about Phillips (N.Y. TIMES, 11/26).

EXECS: The Angels yesterday named NICK FRANCONA, son of Indians manager TERRY FRANCONA, Coordinator of Major League Player Information. The club also promoted Baseball Operations intern JEREMY ZOLL to Coordinator of Advance Scouting (LATIMES.com, 11/25).....GMR Marketing is consolidating its Bay Area offices with both working out of a location in the S.F. financial district. GMR Head of Global Sports & Entertainment JAN KATZOFF will continue to lead GMR's operations out of the new office (GMR)....Mississippi Valley State Univ. named Lincoln Univ. of Pennsylvania AD DIANTHIA FORD-KEE to the same position (MVSU)....Augustana College AD BILL GROSS stepped down after 28 years in the role and will take the position of Senior Gifts Officer in the school's Advancement Office. A national search for a replacement will begin immediately (Augustana).
