Sports Execs Say SEC, Pac-12, Big 10 Are Most Business-Savvy College Conferences

Sports execs consider the SEC, Pac-12 and Big 10 to be the most business-savvy NCAA conferences, according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in October. The SEC took the top spot, with 27% of execs ranking the conference as the most business-savvy, followed by the Pac-12 (24%) and Big 10 (24%). Execs also believe that the Duke and Butler basketball programs have been the best at contributing to the prominence of their respective universities. Duke ranked first, with 43% of execs saying the Blue Devils' basketball program has contributed the most to the overall prominence of the university. Butler ranked second at 22% (Turnkey).
