The NHL has signed a multiyear extension of its ticketing deal with Ticketmaster. In the new deal, Ticketmaster will be the exclusive ticketing provider for league-level events, including the NHL Winter Classic, Coors Light NHL Stadium Series, NHL Heritage Classic, NHL All-Star Game and NHL Awards event. Ticketmaster also will continue to operate the NHL Ticket Exchange for resales, and also include select NHL games in the company’s new TM+ feature currently in beta that features combined ticket listings of primary and secondary ticket inventory. The NHL and Ticketmaster alignment began in '07. Ticketmaster North American President Jared Smith said in a statement, "By expanding our partnership with the NHL, we are giving hockey fans more ticketing choices, added convenience and a level of security no other resale marketplace can match."
