NBCSN In 79.1 Million Homes As NHL Season Begins, While FS1 Crosses 90 Million Mark

The '13-14 NHL season is in full swing in October and the league's primary cable home, NBCSN, is in 79.1 million homes, up from 78.0 million homes during the same period last year. Golf Channel also gets set to start a re-formatted PGA Tour season in 83 million homes, down from 83.9 million homes in October '12. Previous PGA Tour seasons did not begin until January. FS1 is in just over 90.1 million homes, up from the 80.8 million homes that Speed had during the same period last year. Listed below is distribution for the top 10 cable networks in the U.S. for the month of October, along with distribution for networks carrying significant sports content.
