Page Turners: Golf Digest Sees Ad Revenue Up 19% In First Half Of '13

While Golf magazine and Golf Digest saw strong gains in advertising revenue during the first half of '13, Golf World saw a 13.5% drop, according to data from the Publishers Information Bureau. Golf Digest saw the biggest gains among major sports publications, with ad revenue up 19%. SI continued its wide margin over No. 2 ESPN The Magazine, but saw first half ad revenue down 3%. Tennis magazine saw the sharpest drop among major publications, down 30%. Also seeing a big increase during the first half of the year was SI for Kids (+17%).
