Bucks Exec VP/Business Operations John Steinmiller said the team is "actively pitching" on-court advertising in front of the team benches at BMO Harris Bradley Center. He added that the Bucks' sales staff is "proposing the idea to local, regional and national prospects." Steinmiller: "People all over the country are watching our games. It's a wide net" (JSONLINE.com, 8/2).

LICENSE TO DRIVE: In Indianapolis, Anthony Schoettle reports Angie's List beginning with last Sunday's Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio will sponsor IndyCar driver Tristan Vautier's No. 55 Honda "for several more races this year." Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Angie's List also will sponsor Vautier "at the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston and in the season finale at the MAVTV 500" (INDIANAPOLIS BUSINESS JOURNAL, 8/5 issue).

SILVER BULLET BAND: In Birmingham, Alan Alexander reports Coors Light "will be the official sponsor of the Crimson Tide Sports Network and Auburn Sports Network" for the '13-14 academic year. Per the deal, Birmingham-based AlaBev "will be the main distributor of the beer" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/5).
