NBC Sports Group named Comcast SportsNet California GM LARRY ELDRIDGE CSN Northwest VP & GM. CSN Northwest launched in '07 with games from the Trail Blazers and has had some trouble getting carriage in the market, as Charter, DirecTV and Dish Network do not carry the RSN (John Ourand, Staff Writer). NBC Sports Group also named NFuse Marketing Sales & Business Development Dir JIM PRENDERGAST and Tough Mudder Head of Global Sales DAN WEINBERG Dirs of Sales for NBC Sports Ventures. Both will report to NBC Sports Ventures VP/Sales STEVEN JUSTMAN (NBC).

EXECS: Sports Authority CEO DARRELL WEBB has retired "two years after he took the position" and will be replaced by Petco Animal Supplies VP & CFO MICHAEL FOSS (DENVERPOST.com, 6/27)....Louisiana Tech AD BRUCE VAN DE VELDE "will step down" July 1.
