NLL Attendance Jumps 2%; Colorado Mammoth Lead For First Time Since '08

National Lacrosse League teams averaged 9,662 fans per game during the ’13 regular season, up 2% from 9,469 fans in ’12. Last season’s mark was the lowest since ’03. The Colorado Mammoth topped all NLL clubs at the gate for the first time since ’08, averaging 15,760 per game. That figure is up just over 3% from last season. The Buffalo Bandits, who had led the league over the past four seasons, saw attendance dip 2%. The Calgary Roughnecks, who saw attendance drop 20% last season, led all teams in gains this season (+23%). The Philadelphia Wings saw the biggest drop (-7%). Also seeing a 5% drop were the Edmonton Rush, who recently brushed off rumors of a move to Saskatoon. Listed below is an NLL average attendance trend, with comparisons to recent seasons, along with team-by-team attendance for the ’13 regular season (THE DAILY).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
