DEVIL IN THE DETAILS: An NHL source said that the Devils last week dismissed CMO & Senior VP/Ticket Sales & Marketing MICHAEL WILLIAMS as part of a front office restructuring. The overhaul also included the firing of one mid-level staffer each from the ticket operations and group sales departments. Williams had been with the Devils for three seasons after stints in the marketing departments of the 49ers and Ducks (Christopher Botta, Staff Writer).
