Sports execs believe the NBA has benefited the most from using social media to generate publicity for itself and its athletes, according to data from a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in January. Thirty-two percent of respondents said that the NBA has benefited the most, followed by MLB and the NFL at 16% each. Execs also overwhelmingly felt that Twitter was the social media outlet that will have the biggest impact on sports properties’ business in ’13.
