Overnight Ratings: Lakers-Heat Leads Weekend Sports; Pebble Beach Finale Down

ABC's Lakers-Heat telecast yesterday led all sports telecasts over the weekend with a 5.0 overnight Nielsen rating, marking the second-best non-Christmas Day ABC regular-season game ever. The net's telecast of Clippers-Knicks in the Sunday early afternoon window earned a 2.9 overnight. Meanwhile, CBS earned a 2.9 overnight for the final round of the PGA Tour Pebble Beach National Pro-Am yesterday, which saw Brandt Snedeker win the event. That figure was down sharply from a 5.1 overnight for the final round last year, when Phil Mickelson won the event. Tiger Woods finished 15th last year and did not play this year. CBS' Indiana-Ohio State telecast led all college basketball games over the weekend with a 1.9 overnight.
