Final Ratings: Strikeforce Ends With Low Audience; Indiana-Minnesota Scores For BTN

Showtime averaged 310,000 viewers for this past Saturday’s Strikeforce event, “which officially signaled the end of the organization.” The telecast “drew one of the smallest audiences in Strikeforce-Showtime history” despite running a free-preview weekend on Showtime. The telecast “ranked 13th out of the 14 ‘Arena Series’ events that have aired since 2011” (MMAJUNKIE.com, 1/15).

NOTES: YES Network averaged 202,000 viewers for Raptors-Nets on Tuesday night, marking YES' second-best audience for a Nets game, behind only Nets-Heat on Dec. 1, 2012 (242,000 viewers) (YES)….Big Ten Network drew a 2.1 local rating across its eight metered markets for Indiana-Minnesota men's basketball game last Saturday, marking the net’s highest-rated regular-season basketball game ever (BTN).
