Rory McIlroy To Become Second Golfer To Take Home PGA, European Tour Money Titles
Rory McIlroy will become the second golfer ever to win the money titles on both the PGA and European Tour, taking home $8.0M in the U.S. and currently having $4.7M in earnings with three tournaments left in the Race to Dubai. McIlroy would match the feat completed last season by Luke Donald, who won the PGA Tour money title with $6.7M and the European Tour title with $6.8M. McIlroy finished second in Europe last season with $5.1M in on-course earnings. Tiger Woods last won the PGA Tour money title in ’09, and has won it four times in the past decade (THE DAILY).
