MLS Chivas USA named JOSE DAVID President, replacing ANTONIO CUE as the club’s “top front-office executive.” The club also named Liga MX club Chivas de Guadalajara Dir of Development JOSE LUIS REAL Supervisor of Soccer Operations. Many of Real’s responsibilities “formerly belonged” to Chivas USA GM JOSE DOMENE, who “will now report” to Real (LATIMES.com, 10/23).
EXECS: The Puma BOD elected JEAN-FRANCOIS PALUS Chair, effective Dec. 1. The appointment comes after JOCHEN ZEITZ resigned on Oct. 15.
