A source said that Dodgers GM NED COLLETTI has "signed a multiyear contract extension with the team." Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the Dodgers "aren't expected to formally announce" the contract. Colletti was in the "final year of the guaranteed portion of his contract" (L.A. TIMES, 9/16). Colletti's previous contract "called for mutual options after this season, but a new deal was being discussed for more than a week" (CBSSPORTS.com, 9/15).
