Overnight Ratings: ESPN's Florida-Texas A&M Leads Weekend College Football

ESPN's Florida-Texas A&M matchup led all college football ratings over the weekend with a 2.9 overnight in the 3:30pm ET window on Saturday. ABC also earned a 2.8 overnight for its 3:30pm regional window, which featured USC-Syracuse and Air Force-Michigan. NBC aired its first Notre Dame football telecast of the season, with the matchup against Purdue earning a 2.1 overnight. That figure is down from a 2.4 rating for the net's first telecast last year, which featured a matchup against South Florida. The net also earned a 2.6 for the final round of the PGA Tour BMW Championship, which saw Rory McIlroy win his second FedExCup Playoff event this year. The round also saw Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods in contention. Last year, the net earned a 1.0 overnight for the final round, which aired during Week 2 of the NFL season.
