Execs Feel CRM Systems, Database Analytics Best Way To Increase CFB Attendance
Published August 29, 2012
Sports execs feel that colleges can most effectively increase attendance at home football games through hiring internal outbound sales personnel and by utilizing CRM systems and database analytics, according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in July. Thirty-two percent of execs said using CRM systems and database analytics was the most effective route, while 20% said hiring internal outbound sales personnel. Execs were also asked which college football end-of-season format they preferred. Eighty-seven percent said they preferred the new four-team playoff format, while only 6% said they preferred the current BCS format (Turnkey Sports).
