Gillette Stadium Revamps Concessions, Offers Healthier Menu Items

Gillette Stadium has revamped and rebranded each of its 38 concessions stands and is introducing new menu items. Menus at the stadium will appear on recently installed digital displays and overhead signage throughout the concourse. The stadium has implemented concession upgrades every year since it opened in '02 (Patriots). The Attleboro SUN CHRONICLE notes, “Fan favorites like Italian sausages and Papa Gino's pizza will remain, but patrons can also choose from new additions like Champions Brew Pub serving wings, fries and a variety of premium beers." Healthier food selections, "including salads, wraps and fruit, can be found at Market Fresh Deli, which has two locations on the main concourse” (Attleboro SUN CHRONICLE, 8/3). In Boston, Ira Kantor notes along with the two Market Fresh Deli locations, Champions Brew Pub, Smokehouse Grill, Lighthouse Grill and Tailgate Grill "will take over space previously filled by McDonald’s concessions on the 100 and 300 levels.” Gillette Stadium Senior VP/Operations, Administration & Finance James Nolan said that McDonald’s 10-year operating contract "was not renewed after it expired” (BOSTON HERALD, 8/3).
