Many U.S. Sports Execs Feel An IOC TOP Sponsorship At Summer Games Is Overvalued
Most U.S. sports execs feel that an IOC TOP sponsorship for the Summer Olympics is overvalued to some degree, according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted last month. Forty-seven percent of execs said that a TOP sponsorship is overvalued, while 21% said the sponsorship is significantly overvalued. Only 2% of respondents said the deal was undervalued. Meanwhile, execs were asked which Summer Olympics sport they most enjoy watching. Twenty-nine percent said track and field, while 27% said swimming and 14% said basketball (Turnkey Sports Poll).
