SI Ad Revenue Flat For Print Publication In First Half Of '12; ESPN The Mag Down 8%

Ad revenue for SI's print publication is flat through the first half of the year compared to the same period in '11, according to data from Publishers Information Bureau. The magazine has earned $283.8M in ad revenue through June. Ad pages for SI are down 5.5% during the same period. Meanwhile, ESPN The Magazine earned $124M in ad revenue during the first half of '12, down 8.2%, with ad pages down 10.7%. Among sports titles seeing sharp drops are Golf Digest, Golf World, Cycle World, Tennis, Transworld Skateboarding and Transworld Ride BMX. However, some titles are seeing upticks in ad revenue during the same period, such as Golf, Runner's World and Transworld Wakeboarding. Listed below is ad revenue and ad pages for select sports magazines for the first half of '12, with comparisons to the same period last year (THE DAILY).
