Blackhawks Top All NHL Clubs In Avg. Attendance For Fourth Consecutive Season

The Blackhawks led all NHL clubs in attendance for the fourth straight season with 21,534 fans per game at United Center, up slightly from the '10-11 season. Despite winning their division, the Coyotes finished last in the league in attendance with 12,421 fans per game, with Jobing.com Arena filled to only 72.5% capacity. The Blue Jackets saw the biggest gains among Western Conference clubs, up 6.5%, while the Stars saw the biggest drop (-5.6%). Listed below is team-by-team attendance for the NHL Western Conference for the '11-12 regular season, with comparisons to last season. NOTES: Attendance figures for the Compuware NHL Premiere series and Bridgestone Winter Classic have been replaced with the team's home capacity. The Jets played in MTS Centre this season, having relocated from Atlanta, after the '10-11 season. NHL figures from last season include data for the Thrashers.
