Ronaldo, Nadal Featured In Nike Commerical For New Soccer Cleats

La Liga club Real Madrid F Cristiano Ronaldo and tennis player Rafael Nadal are featured "in a new Nike commercial promoting the new Mercurial Vapor VIII soccer cleats,” according to Jessica Sinclair of the LONG ISLAND PRESS. The video was “reportedly shot back in February and has proved to be quite popular with over 3 million views since hitting YouTube March 29.” In the spot, the two “get into one massive battle on the court, Nadal using his racket to shoot over the tennis ball but Ronaldo taking it and firing it back over with his new Nikes.” In the next round, the “heat intensifies when the two then trade shoes and Ronaldo introduces a soccer ball to the mix.” Nadal is “able to give Ronaldo a run for his money with the Nikes on,” and in the end the two conclude "with a Nike tug of war” (LONG ISLAND PRESS, 4/1).
