Endurance sports company Competitor Group promoted SCOTT DICKEY to CEO, replacing PETER ENGLEHART, who will remain Chair. Dickey will retain his President title. STEVE GINTOWT will assume Dickey's COO role and continue to serve as CFO. The moves are scheduled to be announced this morning. Dickey joined Competitor in '08, after posts with Time Warner, K2, The Walt Disney Co. and the NBA. Competitor, which is owned by fund company Falconhead, owns and operates 58 racing events around the world, including the flagship Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series. The company also owns several publications, including Velo and Inside Triathlon (Daniel Kaplan, SportsBusiness Journal).

EXECS: NBC promoted BRIAN NYEMCHEK to VP/NBC Sports Vertical, where he will co-manage ad sales for all sports properties that air on NBC and NBC Sports Network other than golf and the Olympics. Nyemchek will report to NBC Sports Group Exec VP/Sales & Sales Marketing SETH WINTER and will co-manage the ad sales efforts with VP JAY MARSAC (John Ourand, THE DAILY)....Online merchandise retailer Fanatics, Inc. named THOMAS BAUMLIN CFO. Previously, Baumlin served as Managing Dir for venture capital firm Two Rivers Capital (Fanatics)….The Suns named Coyotes Legal Counsel COURTNEY LEWIS Associate Counsel (Suns).
