EPL Seeing Slight Uptick In Attendance; ManU Tops All Clubs By 15,000 Fans Per Game

The EPL is averaging 34,318 fans per game through yesterday, up slightly from the same period a year ago. Manchester United leads all clubs with 75,348 fans per game, up 0.5% at Old Trafford. That average is over 15,000 more than Arsenal, which is second in attendance with 59,945 fans per game at Emirates Stadium. Wigan Athletic is seeing the biggest jump among EPL clubs, up 8.3% at home despite having the worst record in the league. Wolverhampton, also facing possible relegation, is seeing attendance down 11.8%. Swansea City, the first Welsh club to play in the EPL since its inception in '92, is averaging 19,930 fans per game to date. Listed below is team-by-team EPL attendance through yesterday, with comparisons to the same period last year (THE DAILY).
