In Portland, Erik Siemers reports swimwear brand Arena has signed an "impressive arsenal of high-profile U.S. swimmers to endorsement deals as it seeks to gain ground on market leader Speedo." The list "includes Olympic champions Rebecca Soni, the now-retired Aaron Peirsol and, most recently, Janet Evans, one of the sport's most decorated athletes who recently announced plans to compete for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team." Portland-based Arena North America VP & GM Tim McCool said, "The Olympics is the big stage. Our brand will be very visible" (PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/17 issue).

REVVING UP EXPOSURE: Daytona Int'l Speedway has adopted Activator, a cloud-based partnership management platform, and will go live with dedicated channels for Coca-Cola and Anheuser-Busch. Shifting to Activator will enable the speedway to update Coca-Cola and A-B in real-time on all aspects of their respective deals, both on and off the track (DIS).

NOTES: Constellation Energy will sponsor the first "green" games for the Blackhawks and Bulls the United Center on April 1 and 2, respectively. Constellation will purchase Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy certificates to match the electricity use on each game day (Constellation Energy)....American watch brand Jorg Gray today announced a partnership with EPL club Fulham and U.S. national MF Clint Dempsey. Dempsey will appear at retailers around the world to showcase the company's entire collection (Jorg Gray).
