Ad Revenue Up Slightly For SI, Down For ESPN The Magazine In '11

SI had $576.5M in ad revenue for its print publication in '11, up slightly from last year and up from $560.4M in '09, according to data from the Publishers Information Bureau. The company's SI for Kids magazine continues to see ad sales drop dramatically, down 11% from last year. ESPN The Magazine saw a 2.2% drop in ad sales compared to '10, but was still up big compared to two years ago. Listed below are ad sale figures for the last three years for select sports magazines (THE DAILY).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with Molly Solomon, who will lead NBC’s production of the Olympics, and she shares what the network is are planning for Paris 2024. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s P.K. Subban as the Stanley Cup Playoffs get set to start this weekend. The second-ever MWC commissioner chats with SBJ’s Ross Nethery about her climb through the collegiate ranks. Nevarez is a member of SBJ’s Game Changers Class of 2019.
