The Univ. of Akron named former Ohio State football coach JIM TRESSEL to the newly created position of VP/Strategic Engagement. He "will earn a base salary of $200,000 per year." School officials said that Tressel "will work with alumni, community organizations and friends of the school to develop strategies and efforts to help students succeed" (AP, 2/2)....The Bills named JOE FRANDINA Dir of Construction Management. He will oversee and manage the team's plans to renovate Ralph Wilson Stadium. Frandina had worked for the Bills for 15 seasons as VP/Stadium Operations before retiring after the '10 season (Bills).
