A memo sent to distributors yesterday stated that A-B InBev President DAVE PEACOCK "is resigning and will be replaced" by North America Zone President LUIZ EDMOND. Peacock "was one of the few remaining holdovers who had stayed with the company after it was acquired in 2008 by Belgium-based InBev." Edmond "will keep his position as zone president while taking on oversight of the U.S. operations." The memo noted that Peacock "will continue to serve in an advisory role." Peacock began working at A-B in '92 and was promoted to President in '08. It is "unlikely that Mr. Peacock's exit will lead to changes in marketing" (ADAGE.com, 1/23).

ON CAMPUS: Kansas State Univ. promoted CASEY SCOTT to Senior Associate AD for Operations & Event Management, LAIRD VEATCH to Senior Associate AD for Strategic Initiatives, CHAD WEIBERG to Senior Associate AD for Development and MIKE CLARK to Senior Dir of Development (KSU).... Purdue Univ. has reorganized its marketing, promotions and ticketing operations. Assistant AD CHRIS PELUDAT will now have oversight of the ticket office and be charged with improving customer relations. The school also named NICK O'MALLEY Assistant Ticket Manager and promoted DERICK STOULIL to Dir of Fan Experience (THE DAILY).

EXECS: A Richard Petty Motorsports spokesperson confirmed that COO ROBBIE LOOMIS is no longer with the NASCAR team. He has not been replaced, and Dir of Team Operations SAMMY JOHNS "has assumed some of Loomis' duties" (SCENDAILY.com, 1/22)....YES Network promoted ED DELANEY to Senior VP/Broadcast Operations & Engineering (YES)....The White Sox promoted BUDDY BELL to VP/Player Development & Special Assignments, NICK CAPRA to Dir of Player Development and KIRK CHAMPION to Minor League Field Coordinator (White Sox)....USA Track & Field named Gold Medal-winning track and field athlete JACKIE JOYNER-KERSEE, Heat VP/Associate Counsel EVE WRIGHT and Fox News Channel VP MICKEY CARTER to its BOD. The organization also elected current BOD member STEVE MILLER to Vice Chair (ESPNW.com, 1/23).
