Sports Execs Feel Number Of Venue Suites, Club Seats Should Decrease

Sports execs feel that North American sports venues should be decreasing the number of suites and club seats while increasing the number of party suites/areas and amount of corporate meeting space, according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in December. Forty-seven percent of sports execs polled said sports venues should decrease the number of suites, while 42% said the number should stay the same. Forty-three percent of execs said club seats should be cut back. A large majority of those polled (63%) said the number of party suites should increase. Execs were also asked which area of a sports facility should get the largest allocation from a team's budget. The most common response was stadium technology, followed by the food and beverage experience (Turnkey Sports Poll).
