NFL Attendance Up Slightly During Regular Season; Bucs, Lions Post Double-Digit Gains

The NFL averaged 67,394 fans per game during the regular season, up slightly from last season. Two NFC East teams led the way, as the Cowboys topped all clubs with 85,512 fans per game at Cowboys Stadium and the Giants averaged 79,475 fans per game at Metlife Stadium. The Buccaneers (+20.0%) and Lions (+13.2%) were the only NFC clubs to see double-digit percentage jumps at the gate this season. The Buccaneers hosted 76,981 fans at London's Wembley Stadium in a designated home game against the Bears, while the Lions are making their first playoff appearance since '99. The Redskins had the NFC's largest drop (-7.5%). Listed below is regular-season attendance for all NFC teams, with comparisons to last year.
