Michigan Breaking Out Adidas' "Legacy" Uniforms For Sugar Bowl

Michigan will wear "legacy
type" jersey in Sugar Bowl
The Univ. of Michigan will wear a "'legacy'-type jersey when they take on Virginia Tech in next month's Sugar Bowl," according to Kyle Meinke of the ANNARBOR.com. The school "first unveiled a 'legacy' uniform for its night game against Notre Dame on Sept. 10." It then wore a version of the adidas uniform "in a road game at Michigan State, although it had alterations to the color scheme and block M." The Sugar Bowl jerseys "closely mimic the version the Wolverines wore against the Spartans," though a release noted the helmets will feature gray facemasks (ANNARBOR.com, 12/13). The white Sugar Bowl jersey "with two blue stripes on each shoulder and a blue neckline also has a blue block M on the upper right chest." Replica jerseys are selling for $60 at mden.com (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 12/15).
