Overnight Ratings: Red River Rivalry Tops College Football; Sprint Cup Flat At Kansas

Oklahoma's blowout of Texas on ABC Saturday afternoon led all college football overnight Nielsen ratings over the weekend (4.5). The net also earned a 3.7 overnight for its "Saturday Night Football" featuring Ohio State-Nebraska. SEC football on CBS continued its '11 ratings slide, with the 3.3 overnight for Florida-LSU down 37% from a 5.2 for Alabama-South Carolina last year. NBC also saw an overnight ratings decline for Notre Dame football over the weekend (1.2 vs. 1.4). The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from Kansas Speedway averaged a 2.3 overnight rating yesterday afternoon, flat compared the fourth Chase race last year, which was held at Auto Club Speedway.
