In The Studio: Lauletta Talks About Adding IndyCar Teams, Randy Bernard's Performance
Chip Ganassi Racing Teams President Steve Lauletta is one of the few execs in motorsports who oversees both an IndyCar and NASCAR program. In part two of his conversation with SBJ/SBD Exec Editor Abe Madkour and SBJ Staff Writer Tripp Mickle, Lauletta discusses the motivation for adding two IndyCar teams this past season, as well as the challenges involved. Lauletta: "The place that we could grow our business the easiest was on the IndyCar side." Lauletta also weighed in on Danica Patrick's move to full-time stock car racing, assessed Randy Bernard's performance as IndyCar CEO, and shared his thoughts on IndyCar's international events.
