WPS named JENNIFER POGORELEC O'SULLIVAN CEO. She previously served as VP/Legal & Labor Affairs for the Arena Football League. She will head up all business and organizational aspects of the league's front office, working closely with the BOG. O'Sullivan serves as a member of the National BOD for Women in Sports and Events (WPS). ANNE-MARIE EILERAAS stepped down as WPS CEO earlier this month (THE DAILY).

EXECS: The Padres extended the contracts of VP & Assistant GMs FRED UHLMAN and JASON MCLEOD through ‘13. The club also promoted VP/Professional Scouting A.J. HINCH to VP & Assistant GM (Padres)….Univision appointed DAVID NEAL Senior VP/Sports Production. Most recently, Neal was NBC Sports Exec Producer. Since ’01, he also has been serving as Exec VP/NBC Olympics (Univision)....Golf Digest Publishing Dir TOM BAIR has resigned. His resignation “came one week after a Condé Nast restructuring that led to 2003-2011 Gentleman's Quarterly publisher PETE HUNSINGER becoming Bair's boss as Golf Digest Cos. president/publisher.” Bair worked at Golf Digest for ten years (MINONLINE.com, 9/23)....Marketing Werks named JAY LENSTROM to the newly created position of CMO. Most recently, Lenstrom was Radiate Group co-Founder & CEO (Marketing Werks)….GARY LORFANO has been named Senior Dir of Sales & Marketing at the Annika Academy, ANNIKA SORENSTAM’s golf instructional school (THE DAILY)….The MLL Chesapeake Bayhawks named BRIAN REESE GM (BALTIMORE SUN, 9/24)….The NBA promoted Coordinator of Officials DON VADEN to Dir of Officials, replacing BERNIE FRYER, who will assume another role. Also, former NBA referees JOE DEROSA, JOE FORTE and SEAN CORBIN are expected to be added as advisers when the league returns from the lockout (ESPN.com, 9/23).
