FC Barcelona's five-year deal with the Qatar Foundation is worth $230M
FC Barcelona's club members “ratified the $230 million, five-year shirt sponsorship deal with the Qatar Foundation.” Only “76 voted no and 36 abstained,” while 697 members “voted yes to the deal late Saturday” (AP, 9/25)….IndyCar announced that Honda will be the presenting sponsor of the season-ending Oct. 16 event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (IndyCar)….Familia Camarena Tequila will continue its marketing sponsorship agreement with the Cowboys. The spirits company will continue its game day radio exposure and rights to the Cowboys' name and logos this season, as well as unveil an exclusive promotional space featured inside of Cowboys Stadium during all regular season home games (Cowboys)….FIBA and Peak extended their partnership through ’16, making the Chinese sportswear brand the footwear and apparel provider for FIBA tournaments in Asia. The new deal makes Peak the global partner of FIBA and footwear provider for all its events worldwide (FIBA).
