In New Orleans, Kimberly Quillen reported Saints coach Sean Payton “has signed on as a spokesperson for Whitney and Hancock Bank.” Payton will “make public appearances on behalf of the banks and appear in television, radio, print and online advertisements.” His likeness “also will appear on promotional items.” Quillen noted Payton “previously appeared in advertisements for First Bank and Trust of New Orleans.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed (NOLA.com, 9/20)....The Bills announced a new partnership with Johnsonville Sausage making it the preferred sausage of the team. The company will have its product available at select concession areas in Ralph Wilson Stadium and have activation at the Bills Shredd & Ragan Tailgate Party on game days. Johnsonville Sausage will receive website and game program advertising, and concession stand branding opportunities (Bills)....Eurostar has appointed Havas Sports & Entertainment to promote its sponsorship of the '12 London Games and “its other sports and cultural partnerships.” The agreement includes “creative PR campaign development and activation, including experiential events, for sponsorships that include London 2012.” The work is “expected to lead to further activation of sponsorships work for other Eurostar-backed events” (PRWEEK.com, 9/20).
