Overnight Ratings: OU-FSU Leads Weekend College Football; BMW Championship Down

ABC's Oklahoma-Florida State telecast on Saturday night led all college football games over the weekend with a 6.1 overnight Nielsen rating. The same window last year featured regional coverage that earned a 4.9 overnight. The net also earned a 2.9 overnight for regional coverage in the 3:30pm ET window, up 11.5% from last year. ESPN earned a 2.7 overnight for Ohio State-Miami, also on Saturday night. That overnight is flat compared to Clemson-Auburn in the same window last year. CBS began its coverage of SEC football with Tennessee-Florida earning a 3.0 overnight, down 14.3% from the same matchup last year. Fox aired the first-ever EPL match on U.S. broadcast TV on Sunday afternoon, with the tape-delayed Chelsea-Manchester United match earning a 1.2 overnight rating. The game drew a 0.4 overnight live on Fox Soccer. NBC earned a 1.0 overnight yesterday for Justin Rose's two-shot win at the PGA Tour BMW Championship, down 37.5% from Dustin Johnson's win last year and down 60% from Tiger Woods' win in '09.
