ERICA KERNER, adidas' Global Olympic Games Dir and head of the company's London 2012 effort, "will leave in September to take up the newly created position" of Polo Ralph Lauren VP/Marketing for Asia Pacific. Kerner will be based in Hong Kong. She has been with adidas since '04 and was the "driving force behind adidas's presence and activation" around the '08 Beijing Games. Before working at adidas, Kerner was with Nike for 10 years (SPORTINDUSTRY.biz, 8/16)....The Atlantic-10 Conference named former Pacers assistant coach JAY DEFUSCIO Associate Commissioner and promoted Dir of Compliance JILL REDMOND to Assistant Commissioner (A-10)....The National Thoroughbred Racing Association elected JOE HARPER as Dir and JOSH RUBENSTEIN Alternate Dir representing Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. LEE DILLARD was named Dir representing Thistledown Race Track (SPORTING NEWS TODAY, 8/14).
