Overnight Ratings: Fox Scores Best MLB Saturday Rating Ever In Milwaukee

CBS’ coverage of the PGA Championship led all overnight Nielsen ratings for sports telecasts over the weekend. Fox earned a 2.0 overnight for its MLB regional coverage on Saturday, up slightly from a 1.9 rating last year. The net featured Pirates-Brewers as part of its coverage, with the telecast earning a 12.6 local rating in Milwaukee. That figure marks the net’s best MLB Saturday rating ever in the market. ABC earned a 0.9 overnight for the Izod IndyCar Series MoveThatBlock.com Indy 225 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway. That figure is even with the June 19 race from the Milwaukee Mile, which was the last IndyCar race to air on broadcast TV.
