WNBA Attendance Up 2.1% From Last Season; Sky Seeing 35.5% Jump

The WNBA is seeing a slight growth at the box office through Tuesday, as league-wide attendance is up 2.1% compared to the same point last season. The Sky are seeing the largest jump, up 35.5%. The Western Conference-leading Lynx, who added No. 1 overall pick G Maya Moore to the team this offseason, are also seeing a double-digit percentage jump. The Liberty have seen the largest drop, as attendance is down 29% from '10. This is the first season the team is playing at Prudential Center in Newark as MSG goes through renovations (THE DAILY).
