Stats LLC has named Fox Sports Media Group co-President and co-COO ERIC SHANKS to its BOD. Stats is co-owned by the AP and Fox corporate parent News Corp. Shanks joins the AP's TOM CURLEY and KEN DALE, and Fox' GARY EHRLICH on the board (Eric Fisher, SportsBusiness Journal)....The Blackhawks have extended the contract of VP and Assistant to the President AL MACISAAC through the '13-14 season (Blackhawks)....Stratus Media Group named LLOYD ADAMS Senior VP & Exec Producer. He will oversee the company's action sports and motorsports verticals (Stratus Media Group)....The NCAA named Xavier Univ. AD MIKE BOBINSKI Chair of the Division I Men's Basketball Committee for the '12-13 season. He will succeed Univ. of Connecticut AD JEFF HATHAWAY, who will serve in the position for the '11-12 season (NCAA)....Pepperdine Univ. named L.A. Sports & Entertainment Commission Sales Dir KARINA HEROLD Associate AD for Marketing (Pepperdine)....Knicks scouts RODNEY HEARD and STEVE YODER are being "dismissed this month after their contracts expire" (N.Y. TIMES, 7/14).
