MLS Fire To Host Friendly Against CD Guadalajara At Toyota Park

The MLS Fire will play a friendly against Mexico club Chivas de Guadalajara on Sept. 14 at Toyota Park. Miller Lite is presenting sponsor of the event, and Soccer United Marketing is working with the Fire to promote the game. The match marks only the second time the Fire has played CD Guadalajara; the Mexican team defeated the Fire 1-0 in ’00 at Soldier Field in front of 22,260 fans. The game marks the Fire’s second major international match of '11. The Fire on July 23 will face EPL club Manchester United at Soldier Field in a World Football Challenge game. Tickets for the Fire-CD Guadalajara game will go on sale tomorrow.
