: ESPN averaged 1.949 million viewers for Monday's Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, up 16% from 1.677 million viewers last year and marking the most-viewed competition ever. Unique viewers for ESPN3.com's simulcast of the event were up 189% and total minutes consumed were up 321% over last year....ESPN earned a 1.2 U.S. rating and 1.9 million viewers for the U.S.-Colombia FIFA Women's World Cup match last Saturday from 11:20am-2:10pm ET, marking the most-viewed Women's World Cup telecast since '99. Through July 3, ESPN and ESPN have combined to average 637,000 viewers for Women's World Cup matches, up 149.8% from 255,000 viewers through the same point in '07 (ESPN)....Spike TV averaged a 0.7 U.S. rating and 1.2 million viewers for last Saturday's UFC 132 Prelims (THE DAILY). The audience was"just 100,000 viewers off the series low" (MMAJUNKIE.com, 7/6).

On this week’s pod, our Big Get is CBS Sports college basketball analyst Jay Wright. The NCAA Championship-winning coach shares his insight with SBJ’s Austin Karp on key hoops issues and why being well dressed is an important part of his success.
