Study Shows MMA Fans Spread Evenly Among Various Household Income Levels

While MMA demographics continue to trend heavily toward young, white males, there is relatively even distribution among various household income levels, according to data from Scarborough Sports Marketing. MMA fans making over $100,000 annually account for the largest portion of fans at 19.5%. The lowest level is fans making between $75,000 and $100,000 (13.2%). The discrepancy among different races/ethnicities is much greater, with 57% Caucasian and just 22.2% Hispanic and 13.6% African-American. MMA sees consistency among fans between ages 18-44, but there is a sharp drop off among those ages 45 and older. Listed below are demographics for those who say they are fans of MMA (THE DAILY).
