Fox scored again with its MLB primetime coverage on Saturday night, earning a season-high 3.4 overnight rating. Fox' two primetime MLB windows have now averaged a 3.2 overnight rating, up 14% from the comparable dates last year. ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" did not see the same sort of success last night. The Cubs-Red Sox matchup earned a 1.9 overnight, down 30% from the comparable Yankees-Mets game last year. CBS saw gains for its coverage of the PGA Tour Crowne Plaza Invitational. The net earned a 2.1 overnight for Sunday's final round coverage, marking the event's best final round since '06 for David Toms' win. The rating is up 110% from a 1.0 overnight last year, when it aired during Memorial Day weekend. Saturday's PGA Tour coverage earned a 1.1 overnight, up from a 0.9.
