Executive Transactions

In this week's SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, Terry Lefton reports USTA Chief Business & Marketing Officer HARLAN STONE is "changing his responsibilities at the tennis governing body to solely overseeing sales efforts." The USTA in a statement said that Stone, "who was at the end of his contract, had re-signed through 2014 with the organization as chief business officer, for which he will still sell corporate sponsorships and television." But while Stone "retains a USTA executive title," he is launching SJX Partners, a Connecticut-based property representation firm, with former Team Epic VP JEFF JONAS (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/18 issue).
